Tehran (IP) - Vice-chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament said Arab-Israeli relations is nothing new and has only been revealed because of the current political situation.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the open session of parliament on Tuesday, Mohammad Javad Jamali referred to Israel's plan to get closer to the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf and cooperate with them, saying, "These relations have already existed."

Jamali said, "This is a process aimed at the Israeli regime's entry into the Persian Gulf through US-made Iranophobia and with increased accusations on issues such as Fujairah port attacks, as well as the Japanese and Norwegian ships' incidents in the region."

Their efforts would yield no results and surely they, especially the Saudi regime, will face the resistance of the region's nations, Jamali said.
