Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's parliament (Majlis) speaker Ali Larijani made the remark on Tuesday in a meeting with the head of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China, Song Tao in Tehran, saying, “the cooperation between Iran, China, and other friendly countries can halt the hostility of the US and neutralize its effects.”
Song Tao, for his part, said China has a strong will to develop its ties with Iran and nothing can change this strategy.
“The experiences of Iran and China shows that developing countries don’t have to copy the development model of Western countries and can follow their own domestic models,” added the head of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China.
He further voiced his support to Iran’s efforts in preserving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), urging the implementation of the commitments by all parties to the agreement. He stressed: “One of the goals of this trip is to coordinate both countries' actions regarding the confrontation to the unilateral and imperialistic actions of the US.”
