IME Witnesses Growth in Trading Volume and Value

During weekdays ending up to October 3, while 555,517 MT of commodities worth over 710 million USD were traded on Iran Mercantile Exchange, the trading volume and value experienced a growth of 20 and 32 percent, respectively.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 233,875 MT of various products worth close to 315 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 227,723 MT of steel, 2,720 MT of copper, 3,300 MT of aluminum, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates as well as 15 kg of gold bullion were traded by customers, Iran Press reported.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 320,946 MT of different commodities with a total value of 395 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 145,750 MT of VB feed stock, 75,485 MT of bitumen, 71,924 MT of polymer products, 22,205 MT of chemical products, 827 MT of insulation, 1,656 MT of argon as well as 3,720 MT of sulfur were traded.
