The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with his Lebanese counterpart on the sidelines of the seventy-fourth session of the UN General Assembly.

Iran Press/America: On the sidelines of the seventy-fourth session of the UN General Assembly, in a brief meeting Iran's President Hassan Rouhani and Lebanese President Michel Aoun, discussed bilateral, regional and international issues of interest.

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrived in New York on Monday evening to attend the seventy-fourth session of the UN General Assembly, Iran Press reported.

On the sidelines of the summit, Hassan Rouhani has already held talks with the presidents of France and Switzerland, the chancellor of Germany and the prime ministers of Sweden, Britain, Spain, Japan, and Pakistan.

In his address to the UN General Assembly, the Iranian President also unveiled a regional peace plan known as 'Hope' (Hope stands for Hormuz Peace Endeavour) while explaining the regional and international positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran. 101/211/216
