Iran Non-Oil Exports

Iran's non-oil exports for the month of August has grown by 3.2 percent compared to the previous month July, reaching the impressive figure of 3.2 billion dollars.

Iran PressIran news: The Tehran Chamber of Commerce has published a report about Iran's exports this summer, saying Iran's non-oil exports for the month of August reached 3.2 billion dollars. 

The report says although this figure is slightly higher than July's total non-oil exports, it is still down on the average monthly non-oil exports for 2018 which stands at 3.7 billion dollars. The report says there has been a 16 percent reduction when comparing export of commodities for the months of August 2018 and August 2019, Iran Press reported.

According to the report, imports of commodities for the month of August 2019 totaled 3.4 billion dollars, which showed 8.1 percent decrease compared to August 2018, and a 15 percent decrease compared to the previous month, July 2019.

The figure for imports in August 2019 was also slightly lower than the average monthly imports for 2018, which stands at 3.5 billion dollars.
