Kish Island (IP) - On the night of mid-Shaban celebration, Salar Aghili well-known Iranian singer performed a concert in Kish Island in the Persian Gulf, the proceeds from which will go to flood victims and flood relief efforts in Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: Salar Aghili, a well-known singer of classical and traditional Persian songs, performed a concert organized by a local investor in beautiful Iranian Island of Kish, with over 1500 tourists and locals attending the concert.

According to an Iran Press report, the concert was held at Kish Island Hall, and all profits from the concert about $85,000 with the participation of Iranian Red Crescent Society will go to flood victims in Iran.

Heavy rainfall across Iran since 19 March has caused flooding in some 1,900 cities, towns, and villages, at least killing 76 people. The floods have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of damage to Iranian agriculture, leaving aid agencies struggling to cope.
