The member of the presiding board of Iran's parliament Alireza Rahimi, said that Tehran has good bilateral ties with Pakistan, and a range of agreements with that country.

 

Iran Press/Iran News: Alireza Rahimi in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Saturday said: "We have a good relationship and a number of agreements with Pakistan so, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif went to Islamabad to discuss these agreements with senior Pakistani officials and to encourage further implementation of the agreements." 

He added: "I must say regarding the situation and tensions between Iran and United States, of course the economy is our first priority, our top priority, and we are visiting our friends and neighbours to enable us to manage the economic and political situation better." 

Alireza Rahimi added: "Pakistan is our friend from many years ago, and we have a historic and constructive relationship and agreement with Islamabad. So we are expecting dividends from Foreign Minister Zarif's trip to Pakistan. We expect a successful trip and positive discussions with Pakistani officials." 101/211
