Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh in a meeting with Syrian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Ghanem

Iranian Oil Minister and his Syrian counterpart emphasize on using Iran’s technical and specialized capabilities in establishing and restoring different capacities in oil, petrochemical, and mine sectors of Syria.

Iran PressIran news: During the meeting with Syrian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Ghanem on Tuesday, Iran’s Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh voiced the Iranian private sector’s readiness to play a role in establishing and restoring different capacities in oil, petrochemical, and mine sectors of Syria.

Syrian Minister, for his part, praised the self-sufficiency and domestic knowledge and technology of Iran in the petrochemical sector, asking for Iran’s expertise in establishing and training energy and petrochemical units in his country.

Ghanem also paid a visit to South Pars gas field facilities in Asaluyeh, southern Iranian province of Bushehr on Monday.
