Iran Press/America: More than 150 Halal food producers are displaying their products at a Halal Food exhibition in Toronto Canada. The public have welcomed the exhibition and tens of thousands of people have visited so far. This is the seventh year that this exhibition in being held in North America.
Because of the high quality and healthy nature of Halal food in Canada many non-Muslims are also purchasing and trying Halal food.
Figures show that sale of Halal food is increasing by as much as 30 percent per year, and the Halal food industry is growing at a fast pace in North America.
Many of the participants in the exhibition emphasised the healthy and wholesome nature of Halal food, which includes both meat-based and non-meat products.
