Iran Press/Middle East: The Zionist regime prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's comments came after he convened a security cabinet meeting at the Israeli army headquarters to discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip, Iran Press reported.
Netanyahu's comments on Israel's readiness for a massive strike on the Gaza Strip is while the regime has not been able to survive more than a few days facing recent rocket attacks by the Palestinian resistance forces.
In the latest exchange of fire with the Gaza Strip in early May, after only four days, the Zionist regime accepted an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire arrangement in order to halt the firing of rockets from the Gaza Strip.
The joint operation room of the Palestinian resistance groups has repeatedly announced that 'bombing is a response to bombing and blood-letting will be responded to by blood-letting.'
In recent weeks, the Zionist army has launched several attacks and airstrikes on the Gaza strip using fighter jets, helicopters, and artillery shelling.
The Zionist regime has waged three wars on Gaza since 2008, including the 2014 offensive, which left more than 2,200 Palestinians martyred and over 11,100 others injured.
Israeli fighter jets frequently bomb Gaza. The Israeli military also uses drones over the impoverished region either to monitor and photograph Palestinians in the blockaded coastal enclave or launch aerial attacks against targets. 203/211/208
