IranPress/Middle East: Syrian army artillery bombardments in Hama northern countryside destroyed a position of so-called “al-Ezza Brigades” terrorist group on the western outskirts of al-Zakat village, killing all terrorists who were inside it.
Syrian army also carried out artillery bombardments against positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and the affiliated groups in the town of al-Khawin in Idleb southern countryside as a number of terrorists were injured and their vehicles and equipment were destroyed.
Meanwhile, in Aug. 18, Syrian army carried out a series of attacks against the positions of Jabhat al-Nusra members while they were carrying out acts of sabotage on the outskirts of the towns of Morek, Abu Ubaida and Maakabeh in the northern countryside of Hama, also wounding many terrorists.

SANA reporter indicated that army units carried out a series of intensive bombardments against a gathering of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization on the eastern outskirts of al-Tamani’a town in Idleb southern countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them in the equipment and personnel.
In Aug. 5, Terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra attacked al-Zallakiyat area in the northern countryside of Hama where the army units dealt with the attack and managed to thwart it and to inflict heavy losses upon terrorists.
Syria has been gripped by foreign-backed militancy since March 2011. The Syrian government says the Israeli regime and its Western and regional allies are aiding Takfiri terrorist groups wreaking havoc in the country.
Syrian army troopers, backed by allied fighters from popular defense groups, have recently made major territorial gains in battles against ISIS and other foreign-sponsored Takfiri terrorist groups, almost capturing the entire southern part of the country after securing the capital Damascus and other key areas.
