Syrian Army continued its' military operations against the positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group in the northern countryside of Hama by killing many terrorists.

IranPress/Middle East: Syrian army carried out a series of attacks against the positions of Jabhat al-Nusra members while they were carrying out acts of sabotage on the outskirts of the towns of Morek, Abu Ubaida and Maakabeh in the northern countryside of Hama, also wounding many terrorists.

The correspondent pointed out that the army units launched artillery strikes against Jabhat al-Nusra gatherings in the vicinity of Tel al-Sakhr town and destroyed a number of them, in conjunction with targeting with shells the dens of terrorist groups in the vicinity of the town of Kafr Zeita, resulting in accurate injuries in their ranks.

In Aug. 5, Terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra attacked al-Zallakiyat area in the northern countryside of Hama where the army units dealt with the attack and managed to thwart it and to inflict heavy losses upon terrorists.

Hama is a city on the banks of the Orontes River in west-central Syria. It is located 213 km north of Damascus and 46 kilometres north of Homs. It is the provincial capital of the Hama Governorate. 

On Friday Aug 3,2018 government forces foiled a terrorist attack on Syrian army posts on the axis of the visit – projects in the Al-Ghab plain and shelled with artillery, rockets, mines, supply lines and axes in the towns.
