Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting has said that newly launched Iran Press News Agency is a serious and necessary program.

Iran Press/Iran news: Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, Abdulali Ali Asgari also said: "Media work is a great job and jihad. Iran Press News Agency was a serious program which I also appreciate. We will support Iran Press news agency and I hope that our friends will help this international news agency continue to work hard to attract audiences."

Meanwhile, the Head of the IRIB World Service Peyman Jebelli said the news agency has been established to provide the authentic image to the public, and broadcasting live and up-to-the-minute free news, Iran Press reported.

Jebelli added that news reports will be available to local and international media outlets. 

"The second project of IRIB World Service was to set up Syria's Al-Alam network. The staff and facilities of this network are in Syria, and this project is being launched in Syria with the aim of reaching the intellectual and cultural spectrum of the country. The network has been broadcasting on a trial (test) basis for one year, and today it broadcasts up to five hours per day," the Head of the IRIB World Service noted.

The official opening ceremony of the Iran Press News Agency held on Tuesday at the IRIB International Conference Center in Tehran.

The news agency has launched its satellite video broadcasting test 24 hours a day since last year on the EUTELSAT 21B -11520 frequency, which provides the latest live news reports or production reports to the audience.

Iran Press has also managed to promote its activities on the web with Arabic-English bilingual website, as well as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, Telegram and Soroush messengers.

As an advantage, Iran Press News Agency is specializing in video on demand, supplying live video feed mostly from Iran and the Middle East to the world's top media and news organizations.
