Tehran(IP) - The Spokesman of the Presiding Board of the Parliament, Mohammad Hossein Farhangi on Sunday explained the functions of the different Parliamentary Commissions, stressing the fact that each commission gives priorities to some tasks on its agenda with no single priority being ignored.

Iran PressIran News:  The Spokesman of the Presiding Board of the Parliament, Mohammad Hossein Farhangi in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Sunday stressed that for each parliamentary commission in Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis), there are subcommittees and the priorities of each commission have been discussed independently.

Farhangi elaborated that focusing on some probable priorities does not mean ignoring other ones.

He added: "There are series of priorities in the field of cultural affairs. There are a variety of topics in science and technology and in various economic fields."

Farhangi added: "Relevant commissions are obliged to convene a meeting on the agenda of the parliament as well as finalizing the tasks and delivering the report to the parliament, which includes single-urgency and double-urgency bills, such as price fluctuations, car, and housing markets, etc."

The Iranian lawmaker said: "For example, housing is an issue that was approved as a double-urgency bill in the last week meeting, and if this bill is implemented properly, it can have an extensive impact on the country's economic atmosphere so that all need would be met.

"At the same time, the issue of the car market is also on the agenda of the Industries and Mines Commission, which will provide appropriate solutions for organizing it.", concluded Farhangi.
