Iran Press/ Middle East: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency, Issam Abu Daqa described the importance of International Day of Quds and added: "World Quds Day reminds us of the importance of supporting the Palestinian people and resisting the Israeli regime's threats of persecution, Judaization, and the division of time and space of Al-Quds into the complete occupation of the occupied city.
The senior leader of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) also praised the Islamic Republic of Iran's spiritual, political, and financial support for the Palestinian people and Resistance, adding that the Iranian people and Leader truly support Palestine.
Late Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as World Quds Day to survive the fundamental issue of Palestine and to voice the solidarity of the Muslims of the world with the Palestinians and mobilize forces to save Holy Quds from Zionist occupation.
