Iran Press/Iran news: Shanehsaz stated on Wednesday that 97% of the required drugs are being produced in the country, adding that "Iranian flu vaccine will be produced by next year."
Shanehsaz further noted that the Iranian flu vaccine was supposed to be unveiled this year, but due to sanctions, some of the required raw materials were not available for knowledge-based companies in time.
The head of the Food and Drug Administration of Iran also pointed to the existing problems for importing the influenza vaccine to Iran, stating: "No medicine enters Iran easily due to the enemies’ mischief."
