The Iranian diplomat stated: "The US position is to support the Israili regime in the region under any circumstances; There are now sanctions on gas imports from Egypt to Lebanon via Syria that need to be lifted with the permission of the United States."
"There are sanctions, such as Caesar's law against Syria, which have increased the problems of the Lebanese people and the Lebanese economy," Firuznia said.
Iran's ambassador to Lebanon, meanwhile, said he was optimistic about the country's future. There are conditions and a way out of the current crisis.
