Two Iranian wrestlers have claimed the top spots in the world rankings for Greco-Roman wrestling, dominating their respective weight categories.

Iran Press/Europe:  The United World Wrestling organization released its updated rankings for the ten weight classes of Greco-Roman wrestling following the World Championships in Albania. Among the standouts are Saeid Esmaeili and Mohammad Hadi Saravi, celebrated Iranian wrestlers and Olympic gold medalists, who secured the first positions in the 67 kg and 97 kg categories, respectively.

Other Iranian wrestlers also made notable appearances in the rankings. Pouya Dadmarz and Alireza Mohammadi earned second place in the 55 kg and 87 kg categories.

Meanwhile, Mohammadali Geraei, captain of Iran's national team, achieved third place in the 82 kg category after claiming gold in the non-Olympic weight divisions at the World Championships in Albania.

The latest rankings underscore Iran's continued excellence and leadership in the international wrestling arena, with several athletes standing out as top competitors in their weight classes.
