The highlight of the event was the final match, where Amir Hossein Zare, the Paris 2024 Olympic silver medalist, faced Russia's Shamil Musaev. Zare dominated the bout, achieving an impressive 12-2 victory, sealing Iran’s triumph.
Speaking after his victory, Zare reflected on the team’s journey: "Unfortunately, our performance in the first five matches was below expectations. But as the competition progressed, we turned the tide and won match by match. I thank God that I didn’t disappoint the people of Iran.
