After that, the members of an Islamophobic and far-right Danish nationalist group called "Patriots of Denmark," in a heinous act burned a copy of the Holy Quran in front of the Iraqi embassy and again in front of the Egyptian and Turkish embassies in Copenhagen.
These brazen actions were also met with the reaction of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and while expressing solidarity with the Islamic community, he condemned any action in the direction of Islamophobia that leads to an increase in tensions.
Kazem Sediqi", the Friday Prayer Leader in Tehran, referring to the people who burn the Quran in some European countries, said: "These evil beings who burn the Quran have no way to the Quran, and in fact, they are self-immolating."
