Iran Press/ Iran News: Nasser Kanani added: "In the continuation of US' endless accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the continuation of failed policy on Iranophobia, in a new story-telling formt, allegations have been made without providing valid documents and necessary documents.
He added: "Such baseless claims are made with political goals and motives, and in fact, escaping forward is creating a propaganda atmosphere and especially evading the responsibility of responding to numerous terrorist crimes that the US administration was either directly involved in, such as the cowardly assassination of Lieutenant-General Soleimani, or, such as the terrorist crimes of the Israeli regime and terrorist groups such as ISIL, which have been committed thanks to American support.
The spokesperson of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: "Making these threadbare and baseless stories is becoming a repeated procedure in the American judicial and propaganda system, and this time, it is done through creating scenarios in connection with politically bankrupt and worthless elements like Bolton to advance this process."
He added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly warns against any action against Iranian citizens under the pretext of these ridiculous allegations and emphasizes that it reserves the right to take any action within the framework of international law to defend the rights of the government and citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
According to US' recent anti-Iran allegations, an Iranian man has been allegedly charged by the US with so-called plotting to kill former Trump National Security Adviser John Bolton.
US officials claimed that Shahram Poursafi, a member of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), was in Iran and wanted over the alleged plot.
They falsely attributed to Poursafi , the alleged move of seeking to the revenge for the US strike that had assassinated Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani, one of Iran's most powerful military commander."
