Iran Press/ Iran News: Attending the fourth commemoration ceremony of Ayatollah Taskhiri, the Head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) praised Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri's character and said: He was an internationally known figure.
Hojjatoleslam Hamid Shahriari stated Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri always tried to spread Shia religion everywhere.
The other keynote speaker Hojjatoleslam Sheikh Abulhasan Nawab, the Head of Iran's Religions and Sects, talked about Ayatollah Taskhiri's personality, and pointed out the importance of unity, saying: Unity has always had supporters and many scholars from the beginning of Islam until now have always emphasized unity.
He said unity is of paramount importance because the enemies of Islam always tried to cast division among the Islamic Ummah out fear from Muslims being together.
He further stated: If the Islamic Ummah keeps unity, no power in the world has the ability to confront them.
