Sheikh Isa Qassim: Normalising relations with Zionists, forbidden

Tehran (IP) - Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, the leader of the Shias of Bahrain, stressed that the normalization of relations with Israel is forbidden and the fatwa to normalize relations with this regime is a betrayal of the Islamic Ummah, apostasy, and defamation of Islam.

Iran PressMiddle East: The senior cleric stated that the Zionist aggression against the Islamic Ummah continues and that the Zionists have targeted the identity of the Muslims and are trying to completely dominate and humiliate the Muslims.

Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim in a video conference that was held on the issue of normalization of relations and in which 14 religious figures of Islamic countries participated, added that normalization of relations with the Zionist regime is an obvious way to eliminate the issue of Palestine.

He pointed out: "Normalization of relations is a cruel way to recognize the Zionist Regime as a country and legalize its survival and even expand its domination over the Islamic and Arab world and condemnation of Islam and the Islamic world."

He warned that the truth behind normalizing relations with the Zionists is obviously a conflict with the principles of Islam, and therefore the Zionist regime as a cancerous tumor is united against the axis of resistance with the greatest evil leader on earth, the United States, which is on the farthest borders of Islamic countries.
