Iran Press/ America: President Ebrahim Raisi made the remarks in a meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly summit in New York.
Raisi stated that those who had assumed they could face up with the Israeli regime and its supporters through means other than resistance have now realized that they were wrong and are changing their attitude.
He noted that enemies are trying to portray that developments in the region are going on as the US and the Israeli regime wish.
That’s while normalization of relations between certain regional countries and the regime in Tel Aviv does not bring security for the regime at all and will only deepen the hatred toward the regime, Raisi said.
He also stressed that unity is key for Lebanon, pointing out that forming a strong sovereign government is of paramount importance.
Najib Mikati, for his part, expressed happiness over his meeting with President Raisi and said he would soon visit Iran.
Mikati stated that Lebanon has always sought good ties with Iran and the two countries' relations are currently at an excellent level.
