Tehran (IP) - Iran's President said that the whole world now abhors the Israeli regime and the International Quds Day this year will become different from the previous years.

Iran PressIran news: Quds Day is the last Friday of the month of Ramadan on which demonstrations are held across the world to protest against the occupation of Palestine.

Ebrahim Raisi said on Thursday that the Quds Day is recognized as a universal issue to the people of the world both Muslims and non-Muslims and considers the US a state that supports the Israeli regime's oppression.  

He made the remarks while speaking to the Islamic countries' ambassadors to Iran, on the eve of International Quds Day. 

President Raisi pointed to the challenges the Islamic world is facing that is the intervention of the aliens, and noted that they see their interests before anything and therefore just seek to subjugate other countries through casting division. 

He said the region's nations can handle their issues at the regional and international levels through interaction and negotiation. 

The Iranian president referred to what is going on in Gaza and criticized the Islamic world, saying if the Islamic councils were united and followed the Quran's teachings such a catastrophe would not have happened by the aliens in Palestine. 

He added that all of the crimes committed by the Israeli regime are supported by the West, especially the US.

Raisi highlighted Ramadan month and its blessings, saying the month teaches humans, nations, and countries to be thoughtful about each other, stressing that the freedom of the holy al-Quds is the top priority of the Islamic countries. 

He went on to say that Gazans' strong will and hope for to future make them resistant to the Israeli regime.
