Iran Press/America: The American student protest movement began on April 17 at Columbia University in New York; the protesting students called on the university to cut off its relations with the Israeli institutions involved in the war on Gaza.
Organizers of the sit-in told the administration has been intransigent though they recently committed to disclose investments. It was uplifting to see the steadfastness of students in the small community.
Most energy is devoted to a barter table raising funds for Gaza.
Just since October 7 and the Israeli regime's all-out war on Gaza, more than 36,650 Palestinians have been killed and over 83,300 others have been wounded, during the regime's occupation of Palestine for more than 75 years. 204
