Iran Press/Iran News: The exhibition aimed at introducing the carpet manufacturers' capabilities and supporting domestic production and export of hand-woven carpets in 25 booths.
"In 2019, over 9,000 square meters of hand-woven carpets have been exported to the Persian Gulf and European countries," the manager of Golestan International Exhibition Company, Reza Qandili, told Iran Press correspondent on the sideline of the second exhibition of Golestan's hand-woven carpets.
Qandili stated that more than 60,000 weavers are producing hand-woven carpets in Golestan province, adding, "In the past 9 months, export of hand-woven carpets in Golestan province has amounted to over two million dollars."
