Tehran (IP) – The new president-elect of Iran said that the country needs reforms that is to follow a path that leads to the establishment of justice for all of the people.

Iran PressIran news: "We need reforms. Reforms do not mean to defend the interests of either an individual or party; reforms mean taking a path that will lead to the establishment of justice in our country and encompass all people," said Addressing the members of his election campaign on Friday, Masoud Pezeshkian.

Masoud Pezeshkian stressed the inclusive participation of all talented people either Sunni or Shia (two Islamic sects) regardless of gender and ethnicity.

Pezeshkian said that the existing capacities of the country must be taken into account to see if they suffice to fulfill the people's demands, noting that expectations must not go such high that solving the problems of the country becomes impossible. 

He stressed: "Day and night, I will try wholeheartedly to help the people of the country and our beliefs, and I will try to do nothing but the implementation of justice and fairness."

Stressing the use of the domestic elites and experts, he said that if room is given to the experts, the Iranian nation can ensure the country's power and dignity and defend the truth both inside the country and in the world.  

Pezshkian published a post on his X in response to the encouragement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the US Congress, emphasizing: "Innocent blood will never release the oppressor."

"Neither can the crime of killing innocent people and helpless children be ignored, nor can the criminal be purified with a standing ovation. The blood of the innocent will never leave the oppressor."
