Iran Press/ Africa: Fuzail Sufi about Unity Week for Muslims around the world said: "Beyond the typical celebration of Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH) birthday anniversary in the month of Rabi al-Aqwwal, we need to know that Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) entered into the city of Medina in the month of Rabi al-Awwal and formed first Islamic government.
"It was on Friday, 12th Rabi al-Awwal that Rasulallah gave his first official sermon and announced that Islam granted people freedom of religion. So in terms of our political sovereignty our celebration of freedom of religion and freedom of Fatih, and the establishment of the Islamic political system, took place in the month of Rabi al-Awwal," He added.
Fuzail Sufi added: "So if there is any month that we should be commemorating and celebrating the freedoms of Islam, the political sovereignty of Islam, as well as the ideological superiority of Islam, it is in this month for "we are celebrating our eternal president and spiritual leader."
