60 people still missing in Beirut blast

More than 60 people are still missing due to the explosion that rocked the capital city of Beirut on Tuesday, the Lebanese Health Ministry declared.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to al-Alam News Network, the Lebanese Health Ministry on Friday night noted that 120 people out of 6000 wounded are in critical condition and it is probable that the death toll rises. The searching mission still continues.

"The death toll from Beirut port blast has reached 154 till now", the Lebanese Health Minister Jamil Jabaq stated on Friday. 

Preceded by an extensive fire in a warehouse containing flammable materials, a colossal explosion took place in adjacent warehouses containing 2700 tons of ammonium nitrate on last Tuesday.    221/214
