Moscow opposes West Bank annexation plan

Russia's ambassador to occupied Palestine stresses Moscow's opposition to the Zionist regime plan to occupy parts of Jordan's West Bank.

Iran PressMiddle East: Anatoly Viktorov on Sunday 28 June during a meeting with Mohammad Barakeh, chairman of the High Committee for the pursuit of Palestinian affairs in the occupied territories, condemned the Zionist regime's decision to annex parts of the West Bank to the Occupied Territories and stated that Russia is opposed to any annexation of Palestinian lands to the occupied territories and is working to prevent the plan.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently announced that plans to annex parts of the Jordan River to the occupied territories by the Zionist regime would be implemented in the coming months.

This is one of the clauses of the racist so-called plan 'Deal of the Century', which was unveiled by US President Donald Trump on January 28, 2020.

Many countries, personalities, political and religious authorities around the world, especially Muslims, have condemned the plan.

The United States is a staunch supporter of the Israeli occupation and crimes against the oppressed people of Palestine.
