Palestinian Authority refused UAE medical aid sent through Tel Aviv airport for the second time, saying the move is 'a cover-up for normalization' of ties with the Zionist Regime of Israel.

Iran Press/Middle East: In a news conference on Thursday, Palestinian Health Minister  Mai Al-Kaila said her country refused to receive the medical aid as the Emirati side ignored to coordinate with them.

"We refused the aid from the UAE because it wasn’t coordinated through us or any of our systems," she said.

"We are an authority and have our sovereignty and we can’t accept such aid without coordinating with us," Al-Kaila added.

The supplies were rejected because the Palestinian Authority doesn’t want to serve as a bridge for the normalization of ties between the UAE and Israel, Palestinian news agency Maan reported earlier.
