An official source at the Yemeni Foreign Ministry condemned the EU decision that renewed the unilateral, coercive measures imposed on Syria.

Iran PressMiddle East: “Yemen reiterates its principled stance that rejects the policy of sanctions which goes against international law,” SABA news agency quoted the source as saying in a statement.

The source added that the EU decision won’t be in harmony with the current situation in which the world finds itself, given the spread of the novel coronavirus throughout the world.

It called for reconsidering the decision which will have a bad impact on the long-suffering Syrian people.
