Iran Press/ Middle East: In an interview with Syria news channel, Ali Ghanem said last night that the news of the lifting of US sanctions was only a media propaganda, adding that Syria's problems with oil supplies and the sanctions continue.
Ghanem noted that sanctions and the economic blockade have made oil prices in Syria higher than the world.
He said that Syrian oil is supplied through friendly countries, but they have also been sanctioned.
"In an inhumane act after the start of the civil war in Syria in 2011, the United States imposed sanctions on the country's petrochemical industry," Ghanem added.
