Tehran (IP) -The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that accusing Iran of targeting the interests of the Zionist regime in the region has political goals and Iran does not care about these accusations, adding that Resistance groups target Israeli regime interests as natural defense.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Sputnik, the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani emphasized that the failure of the proposals of international resolutions to establish a ceasefire in Gaza by the United States caused the Zionist regime to commit crimes in the Gaza Strip.

Kanaani said: "The Hamas movement announced that it is ready to reach a ceasefire agreement, but due to the continued bombardment of Gaza by the Zionist regime, it is not possible to achieve it."

In another part, Iran's Foreign Ministery Spokesman noted that with the increase of hatred towards the Zionist regime in the world, the actions of the resistance groups in targeting the interests of this regime are a natural way of defense.

Earlier, Iran stated that the idea of creating an international coalition in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandeb will complicate the situation and deepen the instability. Yemen's Ansarullah operation in Bab al-Mandab is the result of America's position in full support of the Zionist regime.

Earlier, British Foreign Minister David Cameron, in an interview with the Telegraph newspaper, spread accusations against Iran and claimed that this country has destructive activities in West Asia.

Continuing his anti-Iranian statements, Cmeron said that Britain and its allies should use a strong set of deterrent measures against Iran.

These accusations come at a time when the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran have repeatedly emphasized that the resistance groups in the countries of the region act completely independently and according to their discretion and decision concerning the security of their countries or to support the oppressed Palestinian nation.

Sana'a has also announced that it targets only ships that are going to the occupied territories or do not pay attention to the warnings to change the route. Yemen has assured that it will maintain freedom of navigation for other ships in the Red Sea. 219
