Iran Press/ Europe: The protesters called for the maintenance of social and economic justice and increases in salaries while voicing their support for peace in Ukraine.
According to the National Institute of Statistics (Istat) of Italy, the inflation in the country is now near 13 percent which is unprecedented in the past four decades.
The unprecedented increase in energy and food prices has been declared the main cause of the growing inflation in Italy.
The demonstrators also criticized the new Italian government's treatment of refugees and banning the vessels carrying the displaced to dock in the ports of the country.
Meanwhile, some of the Italian labor syndicates have called on strikes and demonstrations for December 2, the theme of which is to be support for employment, increase in salaries, and opposition to social inequalities.
