Tehran(IP): The Chief of The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami in his address stressed that nothing has changed after the martyrdom of President Raisi and his companions and Iran's authority will persist under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at the funeral and burial ceremony of Martyred Seyyed Mahdi Mousavi, the Chief of The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami in the Holy shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hasani (AS): " Iranian martyred President and his companions were martyrs of hard work, devotion, indefatigable people who did not miss a single moment to serve the people"

IRGC Chief further stressed: "God selected and invited our most forgiving and selfless people to His Presence and sheltered them in His presence. Our president was a divine and heavenly personality who satisfied the standard of a perfect president, who rested a little during the day and night, and his meetings continued until well at  midnight, and he entered the field of service from the beginning of the morning call to prayer."

“Martyr Raisi demonstrated indescribable bravery in Operation True Promise,” Salami said, referring to the large-scale operation on April 13-14, during which Iran fired hundreds of drones and missiles at military bases in the Israeli-occupied territories.

Talking about Iran's martyred Foreign Minister Hosein Amir-Abdollahian he said: "Martyred Amir-Abdollahian shined in "Operation True Promise" and stood up against the superpowers and had a high political understanding and promoted Iran's logic in the world."

“With the government’s powerful diplomacy, we were able to attack the heart of the global arrogance, and Amir-Abdollahian delivered on his duty well.”

Regarding the head of Raisi's security team martyred Mousavi, Salami said: "I have known Martyr Mousavi for more than 15 years and this martyr was a selfless security guard who was devoted, kind, people-oriented and tireless. He was a pioneer for sacrificing his life for the president and was injured many times." 219
