Iran Press/Middle East: Friday July 28, 2023, the tenth day of the month of Muharram 1445, is the martyrdom anniversary of the third Shi'a Imam, Imam Hussein (AS), who was martyred on that day in the year 61 AH in Karbala at the age of 57.
According to Al-Maluma news agency, Mohammad Al-Tamimi, one of the commanders of the Hashd al-Sha'bi forces said: "This organization is trying to provide the security of all the land routes where the Hosseini mourners pass through special strategies because the security of tens of thousands of participants in the mourning during the month of Muharram in Diyala is the priority of this organization."
Pointing out that the Hashd al-Sha'bi's plan is being implemented in four axes to ensure the security of land crossings, Al-Tamimi said: "Hashd al-Sha'bi forces have been deployed in 13 points of the borders of Diyala province and are fulfilling their duties in providing the security of Iraq."
On the other hand, "Ali Al-Hashemi", the commander of Holy Karbala- operation, announced that more routes have been opened to Holy Karbala."
He added that the forces of the Ministry of Defense, Hashd Sha'abi and the army are reaching holy Karbala, adding: "Coordination with the governor's office regarding security issues related to Hosseini's mourners will be in progress."
