Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian people and Muslims across the Islamic countries observe the Qadr night's rituals during the blessed month of Ramadan in mosques and holy shrines.
It is believed to be the night when the Quran was first sent down from Heaven to the world and the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Morphologically, the word 'Qadr' means measurement, and Muslims believe their destinies would be determined this night. However, another meaning of the word includes the real sense of existence, the characteristics of each creature, and how it was created. Or putting it another way, 'Qadr' means the limit of creation and the perimeter of creation of every creature and object.
On this night, people stay up and read the Quran and Prying to God above. According to Holy Quran, the angels and the spirit descend on this night by God's permission, and this night is better than 1000 regular months of the year. The Muslims believe that during Qadr night, every man's destiny for the next year is determined.
