The Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf met with his Tajik counterpart Rostam Imomali on Thursday as a part of his visit to Tajikistan.

Iran Press/Asia: Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf left Tehran for Dushanbe on Wednesday evening to participate in the conference on the 30th approval anniversary of the Tajikistan Republic's Constitution.

Shoring up cooperation, elevation of trade ties, consolidation of parliamentary relations between the two countries, and the facilitation of cultural and political cooperation.

Before his visit, Ghalibaf told reporters that the trip was a good opportunity to discuss the Israeli regime's genocide in Palestine and human rights issues with other countries.

The trip to Tajikistan is an opportunity to increase global pressure to cut off economic relations with the Israeli regime along with exerting political pressure on the regime, the Iranian parliament speaker emphasized.
