(IP) - The Head of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce said that Africa had many advantages for bartering with Iran.

Iran PressAfrica: Yahya Ale Eshag, the head of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce, highlighted Africa's potential for bartering goods with Iran and urged exploiting the opportunity to meet the required needs.

Ale Eshaq noted that instead of paying in cash, Iran offers goods exchange as an alternative using local currencies.

The business activist said Iran could benefit its economy by importing raw materials instead of relying solely on cash payments for essential goods from African countries.

In his visit to Uganda, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi signed agreements in different fields, where the bartering of essential goods was one of the agreements that could facilitate and expand Iran's trade.
