Tehran (IP) - The Acting Foreign Minister of Iran said the Islamic Republic led the multilateralism in the Raisi Administration's era.

Iran PressIran news: Noting that the US unilateralism was declining, Ali Bagheri Kani said that the late President Raisi and his Foreign Minister Martyr Hossein Amir-Abdollahian prepared the ground for multilateralism in the Iranian foreign policy which was promising for regional stability and cooperation.

As with the threats to regional stability and security, Bagheri Kani highlighted the Israeli regime and Iran's response, the punitive True Promise operation, to the regime's aggression on the country.

He said: "On behalf of the other regional players, Iran stepped in and showed the enemies and tension-makers in the region that in case they acted out of framework, they would pay a heavy cost for it. So, the policy of Iran was welcomed by the regional countries."

"Today, our relations with our neighbors are shoring up based on interaction; this is the common choice of all the neighbors and regional countries not to create an environment where our differences lead to divergence," he stressed.

The Iranian Acting FM Bagheri Kani noted that it is possible for the regional countries to ensure the region's security and stability on their own and that one of the factors that would contribute to it is the interconnectedness of the countries' economies.

Bagheri Kani made the remarks at a ceremony held on Sunday morning to commemorate the late Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his achievements.
