Tehran(IP): The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed his concern over the occurrence and continuation of armed conflicts in the Palestinian camp of Ein al-Hilweh in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of Palestinians.

Iran PressIran News: Voicing Iran's concern about the conflicts in the Palestinian camp of Ein al-Hilweh in Lebanon, Nasser Kanaani, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, stressed the complete cessation of conflicts in this camp and the dire need for all parties to adhere to the ceasefire and peace, saying: "The Palestinian arena needs unity and cohesion of the of the Palestinians in any rank more than ever."

Iran's Top Diplomat further stressed: "It is necessary for the Palestinian groups, political currents and the Palestinian nation to focus all their power and resources to fight against the Occupying Zionist regime, which is the source of all the problems for the Palestinian people and instability and unrest in the region."

Kanaani also considered it necessary to lay the groundwork for the complete elimination of the occupation, the return of the Palestinian refugees to their homeland, and the formation of an independent and unified Palestinian state with Holy Quds as the capital in the entire historical land of Palestine.

Ein al-Hilweh camp is the largest Palestinian refugee camp in the coastal city of Sidon in southern Lebanon.
