Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 19 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,896.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 20, 2022, a total number of 7,212,395 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,954,941 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,607 cases, of whom 221 patients were hospitalized.

1,225 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 50,601,607 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 55 cities are red, 84 are orange, 274 are yellow, and 35 are blue zones.

So far, 64,233,661 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,416,962 have received the second dose, 26,844,730 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 148,495,353 doses.
