Iran Press/ Iran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 16, 2021, on Thursday, 6,165,454 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,980,898 of the infected people recovered.
Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,500 cases, of whom 358 patients were hospitalized.
2,975 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).
So far, 40,463,565 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.
According to the latest analysis, no cities are red, eight are orange, 119 are yellow, and 321 are blue zones.
So far, 58,976,573 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 49,989,114 have received the second dose, 3,307,997 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 112,273,684 doses.
