Iran Press/ Iran news: In a detailed briefing, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ishaghi reported that following the murder of two police personnel in Golshan County by armed assailants in Esfand 1401 (February-March 2023), the investigation into the perpetrators of this crime was prioritized by the police forces of the province.
He stated that due to the armed criminals being at large and their whereabouts unknown, extensive efforts were made by local police to track them down, leading to the identification of the two main suspects. Efforts to apprehend them continued.
The commander of Sistan and Baluchestan police emphasized that the investigative team collected crucial leads about the suspects' hidden lives during their specialized investigations.
Ultimately, through police efforts, intelligence surveillance, and special tracking operations, the two principal suspects involved in the murders of martyrs Mohsen Poudineh and Ehsan Shahri were arrested in the southern part of the province.
In initial investigations, they confessed to their involvement in the armed confrontation that led to the officers' deaths.
