Tehran (IP)- The special representative of Iran's president for Afghanistan affairs stated that the Taliban should give water rights to Iran within a month, and stated: If there is water and the Taliban does not give it, it is a clear-cut for Iran that this issue is among the rights of the nation and how it should act.

Iran PressIran News: Hassan Kazemi Qomi said in a TV interview regarding Iran's water share in the Hirmand River: If the Taliban does not give Iran rights according to the 1351 treaty, it must be held accountable.

"Taliban know that if they want to have a stable and strong government in Afghanistan and this country want to go towards stability, independence, territorial integrity, and prosperity, they must have constructive interaction with their neighbors," Iran's envoy added.

Kazemi Qomi also stated: If there is water, the Taliban must give Iran's rights within a month.
