Beirut (IP) - A ceremony was held in Beirut to commemorate the 41st anniversary of the kidnapping of four Iranian diplomats.

Iran PressMiddle East: The event was attended by the Iranian ambassador in Beirut and several Lebanese political figures. During the ceremony, Mojtaba Amani, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut, stated that the case of the four kidnapped diplomats remains open and is being pursued by international organizations from humanitarian, legal, and criminal perspectives.

Khalil Hamdan, the representative of the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, also addressed the gathering and held the Israeli regime responsible for the abduction of Iranian diplomats.

He emphasized that the Lebanese government is taking this case seriously.

Hamdan further spoke to the Iran Press reporter on the sidelines of the ceremony, stating that the disappearance of these four Iranian diplomats is an obvious crime.
