Tehran (IP) - The Holy Defense Research and Document Center (HDRDC) has recorded the oral history of 400 prominent commanders during the Holy Defense (Iran-Iraq war).

Iran PressIran news: In a ceremony on Sunday, November 2, 2022, the Holy Defense Research & Document Center unveiled its new works. The event held at the place of Islamic Revolution & Holy Defense Museum was attended by IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami.

In his speech, the Holy Defense Research and Document Center (HDRDC) director Ali-Mohammad Naini considered the Iran-Iraq war commanders as a unique source in the research of holy defense, adding: "We believe that the oral history of 400 prominent commanders will provide a unique historical treasure."

Naini pointed out that this treasure is a deterrent against the distortion of the Holy Defense's truth and history.

He stated that the Holy Defense is a manifestation of resistance, resourcefulness, wisdom, and spirituality.

Ali-Mohammad Naini announced the launch of a comprehensive intelligent system for recording, organizing, and retrieving audio, video, and text documents of the holy defense and stated: "The system was designed and launched to facilitate the collection, storage, and document services for researchers."

Also, a comprehensive encyclopedia of the Holy Defense was unveiled.
