Tehran (IP) - A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament has said that the Islamic Republic of Iran takes decisions based on national interests and the law of 'Strategic Action Plan to Lift Sanctions' approved by the parliament.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Iran Press on Sunday, Ebrahim Azizi stated that the US Secretary of State should be concerned about US domestic issues instead of worrying about the agreement between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The MP underlined that the Agency must act based on the approved laws.

Iran is unwilling to give up on its national interests outside the approved rules.

Azizi stressed that the law on "Strategic Action Plan to Lift Sanctions and Protect Iranian Nation's Interests" should be implemented carefully and comprehensively to provide Iran's national interests.

The government should consider the necessary guarantees for the implementation of this law in the Vienna talks.
Iran does not accept measures beyond the IAEA safeguards, and the parliament's law was approved to cooperate with the IAEA, he concluded.
